By the way, the close proximity of the sea is the reason for a pleasant mild climate.

Casa Bellavista is situated only 9 km south-east of Lucca, the marvellous medioeval city, well known around the world for its unique and completely maintained city-walls but also Lago Massaciúccoli where the Puccini-Festival take place, the Versilian beaches, Viareggio famous for its carnival and "Cinque Terre" are not far away.

The house accomodates very comfortably 5 persones on about 115 m².

There are three rooms in the basement: the roomy and completly equipped (refrigerator, oven, hob) kitchen with a fire-place, the dining-room with a table for 8 persons and the living-room with a comfortable couch combination. Sitting-room and dining-room are very elegantly furnished, partly with antique furniture.

On the first floor are the bath-room, a double-bedroo and a single-bedroom. The double-bedroom is furnished in Art Nouveau, the single-bedroom is completely furnished with white furniture.

On the second floor a twin-bedroom is located with unforgetable panoramic views.
In front of the house there is a large terrace. After having enjoyed a deliciuos meal in one of the close restaurants, as La Cantina di Alfredo (2 km), La Casina delle Rose (5 km), La Conca (2 km), Palajola (3 km) oder La Baracca di Nanni (5 km), let the day come to an end over a good glas of wine from one of the many vineries in the "Colline Lucchese", enjoy the evening sun on the surrounding hills and listen to the almost forgotten sounds of a village which go to sleep.

In summer don't miss the sagras in the several villages, where the local residents and the tourists enjoy the prevailing local specialities like mushrooms, polenta, tortelli and beans, eating, drinking and dancing together the whole evening.
